One of our practice’s philosophies is that good design should be available to everyone, and we are keen to offer the community our skills where needed. This was one of the motivating factors in offering pro-bono design services to areas devastated by Victoria’s Black Saturday. In doing so we were privileged to develop new concepts for low-maintenance and cost-effective housing, and to learn from working in a region removed from our usual geographic network.
