Project Description
This retail store was designed for youth accessory brand Icon in Byron Bay. A customised version of the traditional pegboard system was created to achieve maximum flexibility for display and merchandising of predominantly ‘hang-sell’ products. Contoured plywood ‘islands’ float in the centre of the store, and function as the sales counter and product displays. A concertina wall profile increases the useable surface area of the store’s perimeter as well as defining zones in the store for varying product themes.
