Roden Street Warehouses
Complementing the industrial character of the original shell, this scheme involved the transformation of an empty warehouse into two three-level apartments. The top two floors are formally and materially treated as a single element to complement the adjoining residential scale but also to help distinguish the new from the old. The two apartments are interlocked to provide residents with equal amenity, street access and internal function with courtyards and light wells inserted to maximise privacy, solar access and liveability.
