Victoria Road House
Creating a tension between old and new, interior and exterior, public and private, this residential renovation provides strategies for negotiating the spatial conditions of an existing Victorian home. In contrast to the original inward orientation of the hallway, which continues to form the circulation to bedrooms and bathrooms, the open living and family zones bleed out to the external deck, forming a relationship between the interior and landscaped garden.
