Job Description

Clare Cousins Architects is seeking a design-focused, technically skilled and engaged individual with 7+ years’ experience to join our team as Interiors Lead.

We’re interested in speaking with interior designers and interior-focussed architects with strong design sensibilities, exceptional detailing skills and experience in delivering complex projects. The role offers an opportunity to work across varying typologies in a collaborative studio environment. Working across all project phases, the role is suited to team players who also enjoy working autonomously.

• Senior Project Architect - 10+ years’ experience: Skilled project architect with demonstrated experience leading project teams for housing, institutional and commercial projects.

• Project Architect - 5+ years’ experience: Project architect with demonstrated experience in design and the delivery of single residential projects.

We are looking for an experienced graduate of architecture (or recently registered architect) with 2-4 years of post-graduate experience to join our team.

Based in North Melbourne, our studio is currently working on residential, commercial and institutional projects, including the Nightingale Village. The role will involve diverse project types and involvement throughout all project stages.

We’re looking for someone who is design-focused, technically skilled, collaborative and engaged.  Our software of choice is ArchiCAD and construction documentation experience will be highly regarded.
