Nightingale Housing is a not-for-profit social enterprise that exists to support, promote and advocate for high-quality housing that is ecologically, socially, and financially sustainable.
Nightingale Evergreen presents an opportunity for CCA to be the developer and architect for the project, to lead and develop housing that has the quality of a single-family home with the unique amenity afforded to multi-residential dwellings. We have secured a site in Brunswick alongside five other leading Melbourne architects; this world-first collaborative precinct is known as Nightingale Village. Nightingale Village is currently under construction.
The complex team of multiple architectural practices and numerous consultants is cooperating to include shared infrastructure across all buildings, and is collaborating with community housing providers to deliver affordable housing units. Apartments are designed for a diversity of occupants and offer flexibility of living spaces, and purchaser involvement and consultation. Nightingale Evergreen offers 27 sustainable new homes for individuals and families of varying scales, incorporating a ground floor commercial tenancy to service the local community.
