HCA Shiel Street is an affordable housing development delivered by Housing Choices Australia and funded by Homes Victoria as part of the 2021 Rapid Grants Big Build. Recently occupied by a new community of residents, 11 of the 78 apartments are managed by Aboriginal Housing Victoria.

Located within a cluster of multi-storey developments on the corner of Haines St and Shiel St in North Melbourne, the project offers a range of affordable Liveable Housing Silver Level compliant residential apartments. Dwellings are focused around the core amenities of natural light, cross ventilation, and access to a variety of landscaped spaces. Extensive in both variety and size, the 78 apartments include 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms, ranging in area between 50m2 and 110m2.
